Cushman Trail blackberry
Cushman Trail blends our apple cider with blackberry wine, bringing out the best of both fruits. For the 2018 vintage, we fermented blackberry wine from many pounds of blackberries we picked ourselves. Once mature, we mixed that wine into our base cider, then added a touch of fresh blackberry juice to finish the blend.
Alcohol by volume: 8.5%

This cider is named for the Cushman Trail, a popular bike route just south of us in Gig Harbor. Cushman is frequent, easy ride for us and often takes us across the Narrows Bridge and into Tacoma and beyond. Untiil recently, portions of the trail were bordered by dense stands of wild blackberries and in the summer, we frequently saw locals picking berries along the route.
